Our Teaching Process

The Academy employs a participatory and empowering pedagogical approach, drawing inspiration from Myles Horton’s “Circle of Learners” and Paulo Freire’s “Critical Pedagogy.” This framework fosters a democratic learning environment where learners and facilitators share power through open dialogue. Education is viewed as a catalyst for social change, empowering learners to critically examine and challenge oppressive systems through critical thinking, reflection, and dialogue. The highly interactive and engaging methodology utilizes historical examples, discussions, theoretical insights, case studies, interactive workshops, games, simulations, and dynamic activities grounded in real-world application. Participants are encouraged to actively shape their learning experience rather than passively receiving information.
